Girls & Guns: Firearms Safety and Field Day - November 10th, 2018

15.00

Girls & Guns is all about promoting women with firearms for hunting and target shooting. Our aim is to make women more comfortable with firearms in a laid back, safe and non-intimidating setting.

Join me and some very committed members at the St. John’s Rod & Gun Club who have graciously agreed to volunteer their time to share with us their passion.

We will spend our morning in the lodge with a refresher on the basics of firearms, shotguns, rifle, ammunition and a general introduction to the facilities. After a hearty lunch of wild game, your afternoon will be spent in the field. You’ll have the opportunity to practice your target shooting with a rifle as well as some practice with a shotgun and sporting clays. An experienced guide and volunteer will be with you with you every step of the way.

Together we will learn proper gun handling, gun safety, have fun, and leave with a healthy introduction to this part of our culture.
