February 23, 2020 - Art of Game Sausage


The age old art of sausage making here in our province has been strong for generations and now with a new wave of appreciation, join me as we whip up some beautiful fresh sausages. Our sausages will be filled with the best local wild game available. Moose, caribou or rabbit, whatever the season brings to us. We’ll cover off all the basics and help you navigate the details from casings to binders to stuffers and you will leave with the confidence to take them on yourselves.

Roll up your sleeves as you’ll be doing all the work and you will all leave with your own sausages to cook up at home!

  • Workshop begins at 6pm and will run 2-3 hours

  • Everyone will bring home sausages :)

  • If particular cuts of meat or products are unavailable at the time of class another product of Cod Sounds choosing will be substituted without notice. Please ask if there is something very particular you are coming to see demonstrated.
